When you are Hungry

There will be times when you have finished lunch or a snack, and you go hungry long before the next meal is on schedule or before bed. Depending on how much time you have before you have to eat more, and that blood sugar levels are at, you can move the time to eat, or enjoy some free food.

If this happens it is time to see the schedule of eating and eating. If you’re just adding physical activity in daily life, you also need to increase food intake to compensate for your extra energy is used up. If not, and you do not know why you increase your appetite or eating plan is not working anymore, talk with your dietitian to see if there are some changes that could be done to prevent this from happening.

When you have gestational diabetes, it is recommended that you have a light snack before bed you put on top of it until morning.
